Well I haven't seen any Ele mains step forward and defend [Second Wind], so I'm going to have to vote for that. It's unlinked, but requires an investment in E-storage to actually be useful and that roughly half of that pool to be maintained exhaustion... seems like it is entirely inferior as energy management and would maybe even cause problems when swapping weapon sets. Am I missing something?

Apply Poison and Needling Shot tbh. Don't waste your elite.

Quick shot sure gets my vote..
Master of Magic and Shadow Meld also get a second vote from me. (they probably fit a role in some builds as a good elite skill, but overall i think they are a couple of the worst) There are indeed others.
I agree, ANet must have been smoking something. :P

Shadow Meld is HB Meta, but I suppose HB isn't played that much by the general population.

Second wind. Without a doubt.
i did a test with this the other day.
Got myself down to 40 energy with room for about 20 more. Rest of the bar was exhausted. i Ended up going to 50 energy. So i gained 10 energy and a bit more exhaustion?. Absolutely hopless. hmm i want energy management on an ele.
lets look at my options : Second wind. oh thats crap. Hi there attunement. Hello glyph of lesser. How you doing aura of restoration (minorly)

Id also like to add that Order of Undeath (necro) is a skill i really hate to use. It's like a suicide skill if you ask me. (havn't seen many people use it either, lol.)

OoU is the elite for player MM's. The armor-ignoring damage it adds is beautiful. The only other option is the new Aura of the Lich, and when you compare the two it's not even close.
The only reason you may not have seen it is because people use heroes for MM instead of humans anymore. Don't feel bad though, Izzy felt the same way and tried to change it, then had to change it back due to necro outcry.
Still not seeing anything that outclasses Shroud of Silence in my book.

[Soldiers Stance]
Not even a paragon would use this since there's [Soldier's Fury] which is far superior.

Someone mentioned using it with the Asuran skill Technobabble to extend the AoE Daze to a whole 10 seconds. I haven't tried it though.

It would work (especially with a silencing bowstring), but it's still kind of a waste.
Even at max Asuran Rank, Archer's Signet + a silencing bowstring only make Technobabble's daze last 12 seconds. BHA + epidemic can last much longer (even w/o a silencing bowstring).

Mark of Protection makes you invincible for 10 seconds. It should have its recharge reduced to 30s though.

rofl That about covers it. It's basically the elite version of Pacifism and Binding Chains. I hate when the Outcast ritualists use Binding Chains because somehow they don't do damage to you until it ends; if you were doing PVP and had that, it would barely last a second on the person you cast it on.

You forgot something , has a 45 sec recharge , lol at that. Maybe is only worth to keep down shiro while doing the extra a few seconds ? pfffffff , nah . That skill is hella far from being "elite" .
